I have watched the video numerous times and he is using an aluminum bat. The clip before he did have a wood bat in his hands but while he was hitting at Tropicana Field, it was an aluminum bat.

Hi Dan,
Please read my last post on Bryce Harper. He is batting over .400 in college. This is far from a joke. He could be the next great thing in baseball if he keeps his head on straight.

What makes that home run a world record? Too funny! Sixteen years old...okay, impressive...but, it was done in batting practice format(home run derby) with an aluminum bat. When you are only hitting a home run in high school every 3.45 games and striking out significantly, there is nothing to brag about! Put the ball in play, strike out less, and then we will talk prodigy! This is a joke!

Does anybody know if this 502 ft. home run was with a wood or an aluminum bat? Although it's amazing either way, there definitely is a difference.
